I charge 1% of the expecting couple's annual income with a minimum of $300. However, I will take on clients who cannot afford to pay whenever my own financial situation allows. I will also happily work for trade if you have something that I need. Please don't hesitate to ask questions about payment options, I believe in what I do and will be flexible whenever I am able.

1 initial interview: this is a free service with no strings attached. It is meant to give us a chance to meet and for you to decide if I am the right doula for you.
2 Prenatal Visits: I like to have at least 2 visits with you and your family (if appropriate) in order for us to get comfortable with one another before your birth. I am happy to do a few more if the situation calls for it or if time allows. At prenatal visits I ask questions relevant to our work together, show you what I plan on bringing to your birth and find out what role you would like me to play at your birth.
Labor Support: I will show up at your birth at whatever point you decide you would like me there. For many women/couples this means meeting you at your home while you are still in early labor, but for others it means meeting you at the hospital or later in labor. I will stay with you after your birth until you and your baby are comfortably settled, usually around two hours.
2 Postpartum Visits: I like to visit with you a couple times after your birth to talk about your birth experience, help you process everything that happened, assist with breast-feeding or other newborn issues and help out with any housework that is overwhelming you. I am open to adding on a couple more of these visits if we decide they are needed. However, I do charge extra for regular housework or babysitting.
General Support: You can call me any time during your prenatal and postpartum periods to ask questions

Photography: I am by no means a professional, but I do love to take pictures and would be pleased to take pictures at your birth with my camera. I charge $10 extra for this to cover the cost of supplies. I do not charge any other fees as I will be at your birth anyway. However, every time I take a picture, I am removing myself briefly from my role as support person, so please consider this when deciding whether or not you would like pictures taken.
Accompaniment to Appointments and Classes: I would be happy to accompany you to your prenatal classes for no extra charge. I charge $25 per visit to medical appointments.
Planning, Organizing and Ritual: I would be honored to help you set up a meal tree, organize a celebration of your birth, make a belly cast or do anything else along those lines. If it is something I have experience with, I charge $25. If you need help with something I have never done before, I will waive my fee and we will learn together. In either case, please purchase your own materials.
